El futuro continuo

[A] Forma

El futuro continuo se compone del futuro simple de to be + el participio de presente. En la 1ª persona will es más usual que shall, excepto en la interrogativa.

Afirmativa: I/we will/shall be working; he/she/it/you/they will be working

Negativa: I/we will/shall not be working; he/she/it/you/they will not be working

Interrogativa: shall/will I/we be working?; will he/she/it/you/they be working?

Interrogativa negativa: will he not/won’t he be working? etc.

[B] Uso

Este tiempo tiene dos usos:

Puede usarse como un tiempo continuo ordinario.

Puede expresar futuro sin intención.
